Facilitator Ron Chidsey is an experienced leader of the Becoming a Love and Logic Parent® workshop as well as the Love and Logic workshop for teachers entitled 9 Essential skills for the love and Logic Classroom®. He was trained at the Love and Logic facilitator's seminar in Denver, Colorado and has served as the Director of Parent Education for a grant-funded program called "Expanding Children's Caring About Others" (ECCAO) out of Baldwin-Wallace College in Berea, Ohio. Ron is a career educatior working with schools for the past 35 years as a teacher, counselor and parent educator. He is also an adjunct professor for Ashland University, Ashland, Ohio.
Ron has a bachelor's degree from Baldwin-Wallace College, master's degrees in Educational Counseling and Curriculum/Instruction from Cleveland State University, and is a Licensed Professional Counselor in the state of Ohio since 1993. In 2001 he was honored by Baldwin-Wallace College as the recipient of their Outstanding Educator of the Year Award. He was named a Martha Jennings Holden Outstanding Teacher in 1981 and selected as a National Science Foundation Excellent Science Teacher in 1984.
